The desktop app runs models on your own machine and keeps itself up to date. Install it once; new versions arrive inside the app.

Version 1.6.4

October 8, 2026

Stay signed in when the network changes at launch, and clearer errors when an engine action fails.

What's new

Fixes

  • You stay signed in when the network changes. If your Wi-Fi or VPN switched just as alphamo was opening, it could treat that as being signed out and show the login page. alphamo now waits and retries for a few seconds, and only signs you out if your login is genuinely no longer valid.
  • Engine actions always finish. If installing an engine, resetting engines or another local-engine action couldn't be completed, the screen could stay on a spinner. It now stops and tells you what happened. If alphamo was updated while it was open, it asks you to quit and reopen it.

Upgrading

  • Nothing to do. If you have 1.6.3, alphamo offers this update in Settings → Updates.
